For this year’s edition of Best Danish Book Design, Archival was invited to design and develop an exhibition display in collaboration with Alexis Mark. The travelling bookstand will visit museums and institutions around Denmark throughout the coming year. The goal is to introduce the awarded books to a wider audience and honour them as objects of contemporary design. The bookstand is constructed from the printing plates used in the catalogue’s production, embedding process into presentation. Designed for disassembly, it allows the plates to be exchanged for future editions, making it reusable over time. It also remains easy to remount when travelling to new institutions.
